Inside La Cachette des Grenouilles, do not expect standardized decoration or impersonal comfort. Everything here has been designed to offer an authentic, unique and deeply nature-connected experience.
The same materials found around the house have been used inside: solid wood, granite, raw stone and old beams. We have also given an important place to green plants, which grow freely indoors as if nature itself had entered the house.
Every room has been imagined and crafted by us. We learned to carve stone and work with wood to build our own beds, armchairs, tables and decorative elements. Some furniture comes from old roof frames, former cow racks or reclaimed barn structures. In the bathrooms, sinks and cabinets are sculpted from granite blocks, making each space truly one of a kind.
Nothing here is standard. Every piece of furniture, every bed, every bathroom is handmade. This gîte looks nothing like a hotel or a modern house — you will see things here that you will not find at home or anywhere else.
The common areas are spacious and designed to welcome up to 11 guests: a vast, bright living room and a large panoramic veranda fully open to nature.
For the night, there are 5 large bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and toilet, all as original and distinctive as the rest of the house.
